Newspaper vendor becomes IIM student
May 11, 2013N Shiva Kumar,newspaper boy turned vendor from Bangalore, was
given admission in IIM Calcutta as a post-graduate student this week, after he cracked the CAT exam last year.The son of a truck driver, his inspiring tale of hard work & determination have made many believe they can beat the odds. Kumar plans to start a charitable institution to educate the underprivileged in the future.
