The excitement of the IPL tournament was drowned this year by the shocking exposure of a 40,000 crore match fixing racket involving players ,team owners and bookies from across India. Amongst many others –Sreesanth of Rajasthan Royals was suspended after details about how “on-field” and ‘off-field’ techniques were allegedly used by him and others to fix the game.
