The World Athletics Championships in Moscow took place in August. Although the hosts, Russia, won the most Golds and the US won the most medals, the highlight of the championships were 2 Jamaican athletes, Usain Bolt (needs no introduction) and Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce – Both of them took part in 3 events, 100m, 200m and 4x100m, and both won 3 gold medals each.
