Dr Sivaramakrishna Padmavati was the first women cardiologist in India, and at 96, she is the oldest practicing cardiologist in the world. She works 9 hours a day, 5 days a week and swims daily in summer – not bad right. I definitely want to know what she does. She set up the first cardiology clinic in India, and has watched the growth of the cardiology in India. She is 96 years old and has been studying cardiology for 60 years. She is as fit as she was 60 years ago! She has won the Padma Vibhushan and the Padma Bhushan, both awards of great honour. We really should salute the lady for being as fit as ever despite her age. Hats of to you Dr Padmavati!
